Appropriate or inappropriate: using "When the Levee Breaks" as your lead-in to a news story about Hurricane Katrina. I really did hear this, last night, on a "legitimate" news/talk radio station in Cleveland.

It was WTAM, hence the quotation marks around "legitimate." While technically a legitimate news operation (and not parody, for example), their news coverage is questionable at times. And their traffic reports blow.
Moreover, what is with that Mary Schuermann newsreader? She is AWFUL, and slurs together her words and often skips over them because she reads too quickly. I can only comprehend 65% of what she says. Shit ain't right.
